Yesterday 28/5/04 we walked to the headland about 10 mins and had some great birdwatching for around an hour. Apart from the sea birds and it being a great whale watching spot; highlights of the bush bird species were Chestnut-rumped Heathwren, Rock Warbler, Tawny-crowned Honeyeaters and the Beautiful Firetails are still around near the track.
