Thank you to everyone that send me photos of a Red Wattlebird.

I have settle on a photo - an excellent image from Nevil Lazarus - showing all the attributes that I require to illustrate the piece I've written for my Regent Honeyeater newsletter "Regent Honeyeater: a wattlebird in disguise?".

Interestingly, the bird is in almost exactly the same pose as the image that Chris Tzaros sent me (also a very good photo).

As winner of this informal "contest" Nevil wins a personal viewing of the next pair of breeding Regent Honeyeaters I find (although I will expect some more images of these birds in the way of a tip!).

Cheers

David
