Drawing two threads together: a recent question by Tony Russell on the taxonomy of the feral goose (Anser anser?) and the current debate on LHI, is there a reason why feral geese are not included in the 'The Taxonomy and Species of Birds of Australia and its Territories' by Les Christidis & Walter Boles,? I presume it is because of the uncertain provenance of such birds.
