Greetings birders, While reading this article, I thought the claim that the Hyacinth Macaw is the worlds largest parrot was worth a look. After doing a Google search it seems that the Kakapo and the Hyacinth macaw are doing battle for this title. A bit odd really when the birds seem quite different, on long one dumpy. I guess it comes down to how you measure 'bigness' in a bird.
