Hi again
 
current bird activity is:
rufous fantail still present
spec monarch present
black-faced monarch not seen approx 7 weeks
rose robins and goldern whistlers are now back into the open forests from their seasonal movement to sub-t rainforest
 
other interesting things
a lewins rail on the coomera circuit (cool sub-t forest) last week
a buff banded rail near tullawallal (200m from top) about 7 weeks ago (during the bizarre weather) - cool sub-t forest and near cool temp forest
a group of 8 little wattlebirds moving south today  - very unusual bird for this area - do they migrate anywhere? if anyone has info let me know
lots of grey goshawk activity
alberts lyrebird has started calling
