Another conundrum: Why is the Fan-tailed Cuckoo calling so madly
around our garden [on the Mt Mee range (one hour NNW of Brisbane)]?
Much more than in the spring/summer... Again, could it be this year's
rain, after so many dry years? But still, again, why is it
calling so keenly at this time of year?
