Hi all,
The Eastern Treatment Plant in Thompson Rd, Bangholme (SE Melbourne)
will be having an Open Day this Saturday 24 April from 10am. They are
planning to conduct 2 hour walking tours of the plant and a couple of 1
hour tours of the bird habitat at 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm. Bookings are
essential as places are limited.
Melbourne Water is also having a community weekend at the Western
Treatment Plant on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May. Birds Australia will
staff a stall at the WTP on this weekend, so we?ll see you there.
Please take this opportunity to see two of Australia's major bird
wetlands. For further details call Melbourne Water on 131 722, Monday to
Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm. Information can also be obtained from the
