Dear all, there have been a couple of immature grey butcherbirds outside my mum's house in Dulwich Hill in Sydney, and I have heard them also at in my neighbourhood in the same suburb. A bloke in the street remarked that he had never seen them much before but they seemed to be getting more common in urban areas. My mum and I felt we were hearing them more often too since the 1970s. Has anyone else noticed this?
