Saw the following species from our side verandah at lunchtime
today. Pairs of Cicadabird, Spectacled Monarch, Golden Whistler, Eastern
Whipbird along with singles of Rufous Fantail, White-throated
Treecreeper, Black-faced Monarch, Large-billed Scrubwren,
Shining-bronze and Fantailed Cuckoo,and
Brown Thornbill.A walk to the creek earier this morning
produced a pair of Pacific Baza. Last weekend a male
Regent Bowerbird flew past and stayed a while in the
lantana.
Saw a family of
Grey-crowned Babblers on friend's property about 30 km north of
Gympie yesterday.
