After being so sure my local Koels had left the Sunshine Coast - Maroochydore - they were back last evening.  Only missing for a day and a half!   In fact, the female has been gone 12 - 14 days, and the last juvenile disappeared 2 days ago, but the male is back large as life!   There he was sitting near the back door, seemingly waiting to greet me coming home from work!
