Hi all,

Does anyone have recommendations for a bird database programme which can be
used with a fairly old Mac computer, with either OS 8.1 or 9?
Alternatively, does anyone have experience with using Filemaker Pro for
bird records? I have been trying to customise my very old version of
Filemaker as a database to store all my bird records but it doesn't seem to
have enough capacity to include the complete list of Australian species as
either separate fields or a pop-up menu. I'm thinking I might have to save
my pennies and buy a new version if that would be suitable, so any advice
would be appreciated. As I'm completely self-taught with computer stuff, it
might just be that I'm trying to do things the wrong way. Thanks for any
advice.

Cheers

Carol
