Was in Windsor (western Sydney) on Friday and mildly surprised to see a Square-tailed Kite cruising over the rooftops in the suburbs. On the subject of Square-tailed Kites, I occasionally see them between home (~20km south of Dubbo) and town. Last Wednesday my 9 year old daughter pointed out a BOP as we drove into our driveway saying that she didn't think it was a Little Eagle. Sure enough, the first Square-tailed I've seen on my place in the twelve months I've been there.
