In November 2003, I was with
Chris Lester from Victoria, and others when we saw a Southern Boobook
hunting in the late morning on the track into Waychinicup about 60km east
of Albany. It was just past the creek crossing. This is only
time I have seen a Southern Boobook hunting in daylight.
