There's a Kookaburra at the beginning of Indiana Jones when they're struggling through the jungles of South America - my 12 year old son noted this a couple of weeks ago when it was on telly....

Surprised no-one mentioned the Mourning Dove?
I don't remember the Kookaburra in the Tarzan films,
but it wouldn't have surprised me. The shots to the
soggy birds in Ned Kelly reminded me of those
incongruous shots in Tarzan, panning to something
completely inappropriate.
By the way, wea re off to NZ for a couple of weeks,
does anyone have any good spots they couls recommend
in the Marlborough Sounds area?
Enough now!
