Hi All,
Although I often see a pair of Wedge-tailed Eagles in the North Warrandyte/Research area, today I was thrilled to see 4 near the intersection of Research-Warrandyte Road and Mt. Pleasant Road.  Unfortunately, I was driving and by the time I found a driveway to pull into they had moved further up the hill, so I was unable to determine whether 2 were juveniles.  They breed in the area, so were probably a family group. Thrilling sighting for outer Melbourne suburbs.
Happy birding
Marlene.
