Hi all,
Came back from a great weeks holiday,staying at a
semi-subtropical rainforest property in a town called Durrumbul
on Main Arm rd, Mullumbimby.
Left on the train from Hornsby on Friday
the 16th at 7:47am and arrived at 8:00pm that
night.
While travelling I started a list North of Wyee,
from there on some of the birds I saw included.(not in Tax order)
White-breasted
Woodswallow
Wedgetailed Eagle
Black winged Stilt
Fairy Martin
White-bellied
Sea-eagle
Figbird
Forest Raven?
When arrived at destination at 8:30pm
Heard Sooty Owls and Black Flying
Foxes.
The next day Went to Rocky Creek Dam and saw Pale Yellow
Robins,Catbird,Logrunners,Large Billed Scrubwrenm and a
Red Legged Pademelon(mammal) but due to lack of time
didn't get to do the full walk into Night Cap NP.
Over the week at the property saw the following
species (the Rainforest Birds on the hillsides,the Grassland Birds out the front
and the Water Birds on the River)
