I found another great Bristlebird spot yesterday - this species extends from
about Bell's Beach, near Torquay, west along the Victorian coast. Point Addis
is often considered a good place to see them, especially early in the morning,
although I've seen them there at all times of the day. The carparks at various
spectacular coastal formations along the Great Ocean Road (12 Apostles, Loch
Ard Gorge particularly) are also good spots for RBB.

Yesterday I saw several bristlebirds at Airey's Inlet - there's a great little
patch of scrub along the sign-posted "Clifftop Walk" just east of the
lighthouse. The birds were very active and vocal and it was very easy to spot
a few within a 15-minute walk around this patch of bush. Magnificent cliff
formations as well - a great spot I've never visited before.
