Dear All Tim Dolby and myself searched Anglesea yesterday for a couple of hours, checking and rechecking flocks of gulls without success. Even comtemplated paying kids to buy chips to feed the gulls in the hope that it might turn up, but alas not. It looks like Franklin's Gull is quickly becoming one of those bastard birds that I keep dipping on. Oh well, that's birdwatching, if not life in general.
