The Edithvale bird hide will be open on Wednesday evenings again from this
Wednesday (7th Jan) 5pm - 7pm, and following weeks until it dries out.
We hope to meet some more Birding- aus members this month.

Subject: Edithvale bird hide
I was on hide duty at edithvale wetland (SE suburban melbourne) today. The
water
levelis dropping rapidly. Along with the usual suspects there were a
several hundred
sharp tailed sandpipers, excellent views of a latham's snipe, a spotless
crake and a
greenshank.
