With the onset of Spring, Maffra's sizeable population of Little Corellas virtually disappeared from the face of the earth, but over the last week or so, small groups have been flying in from the direction of the hills to the north and taking up residence in their favourite roosts in the big pine trees on the hill near one of the town's water towers. Their human neighbours must be wondering what has hit them, after three months of peace and quiet! Duncan Fraser, Maffra Vic.
