Well, I'm glad at least one other person has considered that the use of bird imitation squeekers may have a detrimental effect or negative impact on the birds we love to watch. Probably not as bad as the indiscriminate use of tape recordings, but lets not start on that just yet Timothy Hyde Robert Read wrote: I have not used it much since as I am not sure whether there are any negative impacts on the birds.
