1/12 - several about 70 Km N of Mt Hope 3/12 - about 30 at Bindi, about 100 Km S of Cobar swarming in a tight ball 4/12 - several about 60 Km SE of Cobar. Lots of afternoon storm activity at the time.Lots of Crimson Chats and Budgies around but small birds, especially in the mallee, scarce. I could not get in far as the roads were becoming unpassable with 40 - 75 mm of rain one night. Road through Yathong and to Ivanhoe blocked, had to return to Cobar to find dry roads.
