Colin wrote "solving the mystery" in regards the reference of the name Regent being applied to gold and black coloured birds. I wouldn't regard this as so much a mystery - I guess, however, that Ian may be the first to actually bring this information to light to the general birding populace by recording it in a birding newsletter.
