A nice flock of c. 25 White Throated Needletails seen over North Head, Manly (Sydney, NSW) today in the first really humid, hot day of summer.  Perfect timing.
 
Also, lots of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos on ledges in the vertical sandstone cliffs - obviously foraging for something.  Anyone know what they are looking for?  Minerals?
