At least 2 White-throated Needletails seen low over forest along River Road in Monga National Park yesterday (Sunday 30 Nov) at dusk. Monga NP is between Canberra and Bateman's Bay. Other birds seen and heard included several Black-faced Monarchs, Crescent, New Holland and Yellow-faced Honeyeaters, many vocal Golden and Olive Whistlers, Pilotbirds, Rufous Fantails and the forest was alive with Whipbirds.
