Hi All, Dropped into Point Cook's Spectacle Lake Bird Hide on Tuesday, and the lake was full of waders, including Sharpies, Curlew Sandpiper and Red- necked Stint, as well as nesting Black-winged Stilt. Water level are very low and there are large areas of mudflat. It was a winding day, which may have driven birds away from the nearby beaches. Well worth a look/scope.
