Hi guys…

Today unfortunately I had to recover a poor Magpie Lark from a Golden Cane palm tree in our front yard.  The juvenile had flown into the tree and somehow become stuck, his wing pinned between two trunks.  He is in shock, wobbly and disoriented.  Otherwise, he is fine 8-)  I’ll keep him until the shock has passed and wish him good luck and say goodbye asap.  I think he knew we were helping – he has co-operated fully and currently he is sitting quietly next to me, recovering.  He can fly, but is quite disoriented and smacks straight into anything in his flight path.

Fingers crossed he recovers soon, until then he has our house as protection. 8-)
