Further to Peter Fuller's comment about impacts of fire on Australian
biota, especially birds.

There are two items under the Victorian Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act (FFG)
which address this precise issue.  Both the following items have short
Recommendation Reports which are available to interested people.  Both
will
have an Action Statement prepared to address the threats these processes
pose to Victorian flora and fauna.  The reports show how each item
meets
the criteria for listing under the FFG Act and a list of recent references
is provided to support each finding.

have them
as pdf dcouments or can send them out as hard copy (provide an Australia
Post address).
