Hi Lorne, Noisy Miners attack the hanging baskets outside my living room window, stealing the fibres of the matting used to retain the potting mix, and leaving the whole thing in a mess... Funnily enough, I heard a terrific commotion while walking though the park yesterday and saw to CB cuckoos heading straight at me followed by a very irate Australian Raven - I assume they had been at his nest? While on the subject of parks, I photographed a small bird this morning, and need a bit of help with identification, some type of flycatcher? Please have a look at http://members.optusnet.com.au/ozbirds/newbirds.html and let me know what you think? Best regards - Mike Penrith, NSW, Australia Birding-Aus is now on the Web at www.birding-aus.org To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
