So say the real estate agents. A few kilometres north of Gympie on the
Bruce Highway, there is a colony of nesting cattle egrets in some
bottlebrush and other trees beside a dam/pond. The colony is only about 10
to 15 metres from the highway. Birds flying in and out have to dodge
traffic. I'm amazed not one has been hit by a semi-trailer yet!
