Hi All,

Had an incredible afternoon with Adrian Boyle (Broome) and Andrew Stafford. Took a hike through grassland near Samsonvale Cemetery (SE Qld) in search of King Quail for Adrian (which we saw between 5-10) and also flushed Brown, Stubble, Red-backed Buttonquail and (....a first for me) Red-chested Buttonquail. These were all in a fairly small area and fairly-easily identifiable in the late-afternoon sunlight.
This evening we also had nice views of White-throated Nightjar on our block.

Tom
