Heard my first olive-backed oriole for the season yesterday just upstream of the Fairfield boathouse on the Yarra (in Melbourne). Coming through this morning I caught a glimpse of it. I think there may have been a second as well. I was on the lookout (listen out?) for kingfishers. Nix yet, unfortunately.
