Adding a slightly different spin on the affair, the 2003 NSW twitchathon will be the subject of an hour-long documentary.

Three teams finished in Newcastle (the mighty Whacked-out Woodswallows, The Hunter Thickheads and the Hunter Home Brewers) will be followed for the entire 24 hour period by film crews.  This weekend the crews are filming the preliminary bits including preparation and the "talking head" shots.  It should be an experience and a half.  Each of the teams have been assured that it will be pretty much "fly on the wall" stuff once we get underway with the crews being as unobtrusive as possible and certainly not interfering with our birding.

We'll let you know where and when it will be aired.

Cheers

David Geering
Head Woodswallow
