In 1995 on Marthaguy Ck between Warren and Quambone on the Central-west Plains of NSW I saw a Ground Cuckoo-shrikes' nest built almost entirely of cotton bolls (cotton wool)..............looked most comfortable.

I've also seen a Striated Thornbill nest which used toilet paper as the
main construction material. Unfortunately this made the nest very obvious
and before the young fledged it was predated.
