On 4/10 we saw 117 species, without much effort in this great birding area.
We saw a White-throated Gerygone visit his beautiful nest less than 2 m off
the ground at Scheyville NP - quick work indeed. We have noted that
Bar-shouldered Doves have increased their range here, we recorded them along
Cornwallis Road at Windsor and also at Cattai NP, it seems that every season
we see them in a new area, they have been around Sackville for a long
time. - look forward to some feed back re. this. For those birdwatchers
who contacted us, and were interested in seeing Scarlet Honeyeaters -at
Cattai NP , we had great views of two males in a dead tree!. There are
considerable numbers at Mitchell Park and Cattai, so good luck. All larks!
the Brown & Rufous Songlarks, Skylark and Bushlark were easily located along
the backroads of Windsor. Neil & Judi Russill
