I saw last year end october loads of Roseate Terns on Lady Elliott. Not hard to find mostly on the western side of the island, we recorded about 70+.
Please also pay attention on the Silver-eye and there are on the western side of the airstrip at the end some Little Grassbirds too. Cheers, Justin Jansen, The Netherlands Does anyone know when Roseate Terns breed on Lady Eliot Island? More generally, what birds would be around on that island in July? cheers John Leonard |
