The Capertee area west of the Blue Mountains always seems to feature in many "Top Bird Spot" lists. Having visited the area only rarely, I hoped to give it a quick scouting visit on the weekend with an aim to return later to specific spots. Can anyone recommend good areas or locations in the Capertee Valley to get me started? My particular interest is bird photography. Recommendations on camping sites would also be helpful. I have a range of maps of the area which could help with directions. Thanks & regards,
