Hi Birders,
Bearing in mind somehting Jill Denning had to say today about bird names being important, I would like to point out that in the document "Taxonomy and Species of Birds of Australia and its Territories" Leslie Cristidis & Walter E. Boles 1994, the correct English name and spelling for our good old white cockie is Sulphur-crested Cockatoo not Sulfur-crested Cockatoo.
