Which reminded me of Alec Chisholm telling me how surprised he was to hear
whipbirds calling in the City Botanic Gardens, here in the heart of
Brisbane.  That was years ago - he was staying at the Belle View before
Premier Joh had it knocked down - and I don't know if the whipbirds are
still there.
