Hello, Can someone help me with what bird this is? http://yallara.cs.rmit.edu.au/~vhl/sandpiper.jpg It was at Spectacle lake at Point Cooke, Vic on 18th July 2003. I am currently guessing that it is a Curlew Sandpiper, but I'm not really be sure. There is a black fronted dotterel in the front of it, so you can compare for size. Taken with a 400mm Lens and Press 800 Film. Thanks, Vin Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
