As well as the properties that Frank mentioned, the Australian Wildlife Conservancy has also bought Mt Zero and Taravale, two adjoining cattle stations about 60km north west of Townsville, Queensland. A few years ago a new population of Glossy Black Cockatoos, was found at Mt Zero, about 10 km west of Paluma -  hundreds of  kilometres from their known range.
