There was a male Rose Robin in the trees along the
walking path on the eastern side of the Barwon River at the Queens Park Rd end
of Zillah Crawcour Park (Melways map 227, E2, thanks Richard Nowotny.

There was an exceptionally large flock of 23 Flame
Robins, with a single Pink Robin in the middle of them
near Geelong Grammar School, at the northern end of Biddlecombe Avenue, a few
hundred metres from the Corio Tip, thanks Don Greaves per Russell
Woodford.

There were 2 Brolgas in a paddock close to the
Willowmavin/Kilmore Rd at Willowmavin. They were tossing clods of dirt

A returning Fan-tailed Cuckoo was seen and heard at the
golf course at Point Lonsdale, thanks Ron Corinaldi.

A pair of Brolgas were seen at the Austin Road Lagoons

At Lake Victoria, Point Lonsdale there were 5 Hooded
Plovers, 2 of which were juveniles, an Australian
Spotted Crake and a Buff-banded Rail, thanks

There were a pair of Australasian Shovelers at Westgate
Park, thanks Michael Veitch.

While driving along Walhalla - Rawson Rd there was a female
Spotted Quail-thrush crossing the road, a Wonga
Pigeon and Bassian Thrush, thanks Giles

In an open gully south of Licola at 207 metres altitude, a mixed flock of
mainly Flame, plus Scarlet
Robins, numbering around 100 birds, also numerous Jacky

There were a pair of Purple-crowned Lorikeets feeding in
an introduced deciduous birch type tree in the gardens of the Glenrowan roadside
stop on the Hume Freeway, thanks Sean Dooley.

There was a Spotted Harrier in Braeside Park that was
actively hunting over the now dry wetlands on the Governor Road end of the park,
thanks Richard Walsh.

A male and female Flame Robin was seen at the Coolart
Estate, Merricks, on the fence adjacent to the grazing paddocks, thanks Tony
Trood.
