Following this thread I 've just recalled the Blackbirds on Norfolk Island which sang from the top of Norfolk Pines in the evenings. Very English, the weather was overcast and grey . The songsters were regularly spaced, territorial ?, but the songs not memorably complex. Beautiful nonetheless.
