That's all well and good, and I agree that BA
should place more emphasis on trying to ensure the long-term viability of the
observatories. There's not much point in dwelling on what should or could have
happened. What's needed now is for BA to take a more modern, innovative approach
to the way they operate - in the financial as well as the public relations
arena.
