I received my copy of "Finding Birds in Darwin,
Kakadu and the Top End" today. I must say, my initial appraisal in very
positive. It is covers all the birding sites in the area and there are
great maps and explanations of how the find the sites and the birds. It is much
more detailed then Thomas and Thomas in the description of each site for
example.
I haven't looked in detail and this note is not
meant as a critique but I would think this book is essential for anybody
going birding to Darwin.
