Hello everyone/Sydney birdo's,
A few of the good things around the Hawkesbury over the past week, Turquoise Parrots Laughtondale Gully, two Spotted Harriers Pitt Town Lagoon, Plumed Whistle Ducks Pughs Lagoon, Glossy Ibis Mc Graths Hill, There is one Freckled Duck at Little Bushells, Owlet Nightjar Castle reagh and lots of Honeyeaters about.
Most of the lagoons have water in them some full, others partialy. Pitt Town as very little water in it and is covered in 2metre high dead growth from summer it is very good at dusk for watching Harriers of both species, Brown Goshawks and other raptors feeding on the many small passerines that are roosting there.

The beautiful Hawkesbury 60km N/W Sydney.
