Some may remember that i have been birdwatching in my local park. Well what i have been doing is compiling a list of birds i see in the park and am currently up to 61 species. Although most are not rare many are firsts for me and it is great that i have now had the chance to study a number of birds and listen to their calls while watching by myself. I now know the call of a grey honeyeater and a few other species. Here is the list of bird species i see in the park. 1. Australian Wood Duck

Australian White Ibis 12. Straw-necked Ibis 13. Whistling Kite 14. Black-shouldered Kite 15. Australian Hobby 16. Dusky Moorhen 17. Comb-crested Jacana 18. Purple Swamphen 19. Eurasian Coot 20. Buff-banded Rail 21. Crested Pigeon 22. Spotted Turtle-Dove 23. Sulphur-crested Cockatoo 24. Galah 25. Rainbow Lorikeet 26. Pale-headed Rosella 27. Brush Cuckoo 28. Forest Kingfisher 29. Tawny Frogmouth 30. Laughing Kookaburra 31. Grey Shrike-thrush 32. Superb Fairy-wren 33. Variegated Fairy-wren 34. Red-backed Fairy-wren 35. Striated Pardalote 36. White-throated Gerygone 37.
