Two Speckled Warblers were seen with a group of Straited Thornbills, on a cleared property on Loves Lane in the Brisbane Ranges, near Geelong Victoria. This is the first time i've seen these birds, and was very impressed by their spectacular markings. Also seen in the Brisbane ranges was: Brown Headed HE White Naped HE White eared HE White Plumed HE New Holland HE Yellow Faced HE Scarlet Robin Pink Robin(imm./fem) Jacky Winter Straited Thornbill Yellow rumped thornbill Crested Shrike Tit Grey Currawong Willy wagtail Magpie Eastern Rosella Crimson Rosella Red Rumped Parrot Sulfur Crested Cockatoo Galah Grey Shrike Thrush Superb Fairy Wren White browed Scrubwren |
