    Hi Everyone,

Being a sunny, still day and more rain being forecast for Sydney I took
myself down to Deep Creek (Narrabeen Lagoon) on Sydney's Northern Beaches
today, to enjoy the sunshine while I could.

There were some nice birds on the lagoon and in the bush around Deep Creek:
Two Ospreys, a pair of Peregrines, Brush Bronzewing, Spangled Drongo, Rose
Robin, two Caspian Tern and a strongly coloured Striated Heron with very
yellow legs and a rather ruddy underside, I thought the rufus morph was a
northern bird?

The Ospreys have been fairly regular around the lagoon recently, hopefully
they will again become resident there.

Bruce.
