A big HOORAY and thank you to Michael Mules for
today's eloquent and forthright post. This continuing stream of anti-science
bilge is not just repetitive; it's getting pretty damn close to defamatory at
times.
We are all welcome to our opinions, and indeed to
our unique modes of expressing them. But enough already - if "thee world's best
birding list" isn't to go completely to the dogs, it would be nice if certain
members paid greater attention to its guidelines, particularly regarding
personal attacks on the good character of others - AS
"just an idea to help out all beaut folk as opposed to others that kill

JAG
is basically saying that there are good people ("beaut folk") and then there
are zoologists. I take grave offence at this.
